My name is Louiselle Sciberras and I was born and raised in the Maltese Islands. I graduated as a Master of Arts in Economics and have successfully completed the Diploma in Fine Arts from the School of Art in Valletta. Along the years I have developed a passion for illustration, specifically in children's books. 

 

So far I have illustrated a number of books published in the Maltese market. I have illustrated books in full colour, two-tone and monochrome. I am bilingual, also fluent in the English and Italian languages. I love drawing people, animals and nature. My preferences are fiction children's picture books and chapter books. I use digital media to create colourful and joyful illustrations.

One of my illustrated books 'Lucjan u Enzo' was awarded the Premju Terramaxka 2023 (kategorija xoghlijiet originali ghat-tfal 0 - 7 snin) by the National Book Council Malta.
